Hospicing was already very high on my reading list; now it might just have to be next! I btw also recently enjoyed this from Dougald Hine https://youtu.be/1McnxSdTrmg
I’m still really struggling with collapse awareness, 18 months and counting.. 😔 I figure the only way is through. One can’t unsee it, anyway.
Hello Jan and thanks for the comment! Indeed, it’s difficult to see a comfortable way out. Seeking communities where others acknowledge the predicament and tell their own stories helps. I know Dougald’s work very well and his and his partner’s School Called Home in one such place!
Really good advice. I wish I could find them IRL. I need it so much.
All I can find in my town Copenhagen is the local XR group. It was nice to look into the eyes of people who get it. Unfortunately, I think their strategies are self-defeating, as the public doesn't stop up for even a second to wonder why people are willing to get arrested to hinder their commute to work for twenty minutes. They just get very angry.
But I admire XR's courage, and we need activists. I would just suggest ecotage instead of interrupting the zombie consumers.
I get the feeling that your hyper-self-reflexivity will be both the undoing and making of you! I appreciate your openness and commitment to ´unmasking’.

Thank you Richard, that is certainly how it feels!
Relateable!
