I have a rather naïve question: the majority of your piece felt very abstract to me. Do you have some specific idea on how these changes will happen? E.g. the end of civilization and the birth of a new one - will everyday folks be even able to notice, or will it only be observable in a more macro view?
Thank you Ondřej! Given the environmental aspect this time around, I’m afraid it will likely be very tangible to most people on the planet - it already is to some, as someone has said to the effect of “the collapse is already here, it’s just not evenly distributed”. So the ruins will be and are also literal. But I take the point about abstraction, I’ll try to write less so, but in this case it would translate into quite gruesome doomerism and I want to avoid that too. Thanks again.
Thank you, Aki! This was very interesting.
